Saturday, May 10 is RPOLL Movie Night on the Field Did you see the RPO slide show at Movie Night last year? It was awesome! We are in the process of producing a 2008 season slide show and need your pictures. Close ups, friendships, that winning slide -- they should be on the big screen! Please choose 10-15 of your best shots, burn them to a disc, and turn it in at the snack bar. All discs are due no later than Tuesday, May 6. Then join us on Saturday the 10th as we enjoy a movie on the backstop of the Farm Field. The show will start at sundown. More details to follow….
BAT-A-THON COLLECTIONS! Remember to collect Bat-a-Thon pledges and turn them in to your Team Rep by SATURDAY! This is the only major fundraiser RPOLL has during its season and everyone's support is needed. Sponsorship can be a flat donation or based on batting distance. Sponsors can be family, friends, parents' coworkers ... anyone with a love of baseball and the spirit of community support! The goal for each team is $500. Pledge packets are due to Team Reps by Saturday, May 3.
BATTING PRIZES Longest distance per division: * Player - RPO Bat Bag * Coach/Manager - RPO Bat Bag * Team Rep - Pedicure * 2nd & 3rd in each division- RPO T-shirt or cap
PLEDGE PRIZES * Top 3 Teams(over $500 in pledges) - $100 toward End of Season Party! * Top 3 Players in League with highest pledges - $100 Visa Gift Card! * $100(minimum) - Bat-a-Thon T-shirt, cap & bat bag pin! * $25(minimum) - Bat-a-Thon cap & bat bag pin! Every player with a minimum of $10 in pledges will be eligible for a drawing -- one lucky winner will receive a 1 GB iPod shuffle and Action Jacket!
